I am a behavioral/experimental economist working on motivated reasoning, subjective well-being, and behavioral household finance. I joined the University of Leicester Business School as a lecturer (UK assistant professor) in September 2023. Before that, I obtained my PhD in Economics at Stanford University in California. I was fortunate enough to be advised by B. Douglas Bernheim, Matt Jackson, and Muriel Niederle. I was born and raised in China and received my Bachelor's degree from Peking University in Beijing.
